Hi,

Yesterday I moved to 'Reflection-Mod 1.2' and I must admit it is one of the BEST out there! Its a job well done. I was using 'Reflection' prior to this which is another superb theme (Thanks Dave!). As I was setting up my site, I couldn't get images to display. Behaviour:

1. When I click on 'Random', I get the error: "Fatal error: Call to a member function getThumbnailHref() on a non-object in /home/content/81/5793981/html/wp-content/themes/reflectionmod/sliders.php on line 87" along with 2 of my images that are displayed.

2. When I click on any of the remaining links that I have set up - Latest / Categories / Tags / About / Mosaic - I cannot get any images or text to be displayed. No text on 'About' as well. All this was working in 'Reflection' theme.

3. I have enabled the side bar that displays the 'Recent Posts' and the 'Tag Cloud' correctly.

Please help!

Sam,

Could you try disabling the Random function from the admin panel and see if that solves the problem for now? Also if you could post your URL, or PM it to me, that would probably help too.

As of now I have only uploaded 4 sample pictures.

There is one thing that I noticed is the "Prev" and "Next" buttons on the images. Somehow these kind of loop only on 2 images at a time.
I will explain what this means. Say, I am accessing all 4 images from category "Landscape". On clicking say image # 1, the image loads. I click on "Next" tag on the image. On the next image, ideally it should display both "Prev" and "Next", however, it only shows "Prev" to go to the previous image # 1.

I am unable to move to the next image. Any suggestions/fix? As always, many thanks for your help!

Your permalink structure on your blog looks pretty strange. You might want to try using the recommended permalink structure as shown on my installation section for the theme:

See if that solved the issue for you.

I changed the permalink structure as suggested, however, it didn't help. The Prev/Next navigation kept acting funny.

Then I tried 2 things (I don't really know why, I was just trying to get my site working correctly!). I disabled:
1. I disabled 'Latest' link
2. I disabled reflections below the image
both from the checkbox options.

And voila! all seems to work. Before doing this, I also made another change. I put different publish dates/times for all the images.
Since the earlier dates and times were all default to Jan 1, 1970 00:00:00, may be the it was causing some conflict in navigation.

Great to hear that. Could you try re-enabling those two options and seeing if it is still working? It was most likely the date because it sets up the queries and orders them by date so it could have been spazzing out on the multiple posts with exact same time and date stamp.

Yeah I enabled both the options - Latest and Reflections, and it is working fine. It was same date on the pics that must be causing the problem. I have uploaded few more pics there. Do check it out. I did check your site out. Nice photographs! Where did you take the pics of the flowers? They look great! Glad to know that the theme is working properly.
